During her time as an undergraduate, Lorelei explored groundwater remediation and modeling. These experiences as an undergraduate helped shape her academics, and her research interests include the subsurface and surface impacts of groundwater contamination and subsidence on coastal cities. In the future, Lorelei hopes to enter industry and work on groundwater remediation issues!
In the SSPEED center, Lorelei works with groundwater and surface water modeling software such as MODFLOW, MT3D/RT3D, MODPATH, and HEC-HMS. Furthermore, she has assisted both on legal cases as well as consulting jobs and general lab research.
