THANK YOU FOR A SUCCESSFUL 2019 CONFERENCE!
The SSPEED Center hosted its annual conference with more than 200 attendees at the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies on October 8-9, 2019. This year’s event was titled, "Post-Harvey Era: Resilient Engineering, Infrastructure & Policy" and included presentations and panel discussions from top academic, consulting and governmental experts. Representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, City of Houston, Harris County provided governmental updates, as well as key note addresses from the Chairman of the Port Commission Ric Campo and County Commissioner Adrian Garcia.
